Amazing hotel. Location brilliant. Breakfast lovely and hot. Staff friendly and very helpful. Loved the late checkout. Great value for money.

The Morgan is located central to he College Green, Acton Quay and Templar Bar areas. The room was quaint, neat and tidy, and staff were courteous, professional and friendly. I resented with every fiber in my body, the fact that there was not "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, as I did not need room service, yet was awakened every morning by a knock offering the same. I'm an anomaly in that sense in that whenever I stay at a hotel I don't want to be bothered and would approach housekeeping if I need anything, but that shouldn't mean that there should not be an option to lie in bed undisturbed if that is what I want to do.

We've stayed in Morgan two nights as part of our 9 days tour of Ireland. We had absolutely satisfying experience all around: the location cannot be better, right in the center of everything; clean room, good Wi-Fi connection in the room. Let me point out to the front-desk guest managers, and specifically Maria Generalova – she was amazing, very attentive to any questions or requests we had, either providing instructions for best ways to get around, calling for cab, suggestions for good restaurants, you name it! Also, want to mention the restaurant in the hotel - ohh, the food and presentation were amazing; and very dissent prices! And of course our hostess Ada from Croatia. Very lovely young lady, she took time to explain assortments of choices, and we really enjoy our conversion with her. Yet, our taxi ride back to the airport almost ruined our impression of our experience in Ireland. The driver didn’t turned on the meter when we got into the van, and when we got out just bluntly stated 40EU, when in fact we’ve paid from the airport to the hotel 30 EU including tip. Gorgeous hotel with delightful staff

We were warmly welcomed by Mateo at reception and would like to thank him for his wonderful care and attention to detail whilst checking us in and arranging our room. We were in Dublin for a one night stay to celebrate our anniversary and Mateo both congratulated us on the occasion and made our trip extra special and memorable by kindly allowing early check in and a room upgrade that made our stay extra special. We were really touched by this and even received a lovely desserts plate and handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary. Every staff member that we came across was a delight - the cleaning team who said hi in the halls, the bar staff enthusiastic to help with the small things like refilling my water bottle before heading out. A hotel can be lovely in decor (which is was!) but it’s often the people that make the biggest difference to the stay and Mateo and the team were a pleasure. Thanks again for such a wonderful time at The Morgan. We have already been recommending to friends and family and will stay with you again on future trips to Dublin.

Five stars for location, two stars for service, everything else somewhere in between. For a quick visit to Dublin, the location can't be beat. We were able to walk everywhere which was great. As noted by others the rooms are loud as you're in the heart of Temple Bar but the only night it was a challenge was Saturday night. The front desk workers (aside from one lady whose name I unfortunately did not catch) were the least friendly people we encountered in our week in Ireland. The rooms were probably nice 5-7 years ago but could definitely use a refresh. We had booked Superior rooms, and I cannot even imagine what the level below that was like as we had very few amenities. Housekeeping did a nice job cleaning and the bedding was nice. For the price and location, likely worth the stay. They appeared to be doing construction on several floors so hopefully renovations for all rooms under way.
